Request of Documents | Change of Policy
Pursuant to Provincial Privacy Legislation and Article 44 of the Condominium Property Act (CPA), Sunreal Property Management Ltd must now receive the proper authorization from all parties, including realtors, prior to releasing private condominium corporation documents related to condominium sales. Article 44 of the CPA legislates only owners, purchasers and mortgagees are able to request and receive condominium documents. In order to maintain a cooperative and legal approach regarding current legislation in Alberta, Sunreal Property Management Ltd. will be requesting written authorization from realtors who request documents on behalf of their client(s). Our office will accept either the listing agreement or a letter of authorization, one of which must be signed by the owner registered on title to be accepted as legal authorization.
Please Note: Our office closes on December 22 and does not re-open until January 2. During this time frame we will not be available to respond to condo document requests.
